GDP Foundations: the two-day GDP training that turns rules into reflex
Walk back into your site able to recognise a deviation, run a temperature mapping, and explain your decisions to an inspector. In two days, instead of two years of learning the hard way.
Most GDP training teaches the rules. Then reality shows up.
A temperature excursion on a Friday afternoon. A supplier who changes a packaging detail without telling anyone. A pallet that sits forty minutes on a dock in July.
You freeze.
Nobody taught you what to do next, so you default to one of three things :
Nobody protects what they do not understand
A change control is not paperwork.
It is the thing standing between a modification and a patient.
Once someone sees that, they stop asking whether to raise one: they see it coming.
A deviation is not a confession. It is the system doing its job.
Once someone understands that, reporting stops costing them anything.
That is what the industry means by a reflex, and it is the whole difference between a person who has been trained and a person who is reliable.
It is also very hard to build alone.
It comes from working through real situations with someone who has lived them, on both sides of an inspection.
What the two days of GDP training will give you and your team
By the end of day two you can place GDP in the bigger picture and say why your company's licence to operate depends on it. You know why the QMS protects the patient and how it protects you.
You recognise when a change or a deviation needs to be flagged, and you know how to carry it through to a real fix.
You know where your role sits in the journey from marketing authorisation to the patient's door.
And you have run a temperature mapping study yourself, not watched one being explained.

Who will be your trainer
Nelly Slegers, pharmacist, more than 30 years in pharmaceutical quality, as QA manager, Qualified Person and Responsible Person, including years at Labima and at Pharma Logistics (DHL Supply Chain).
She has signed off batches. She has faced inspectors. She has had to explain, at 6pm on a Friday, why a shipment could not go out.
She has trained and mentored over 50 professionals across QC, QA, manufacturing, distribution and regulatory affairs, and has worked with teams at : Yellow5, Thermo Fisher Scientific, APB, among others.
When people understand the why behind a regulation, the how becomes almost effortless.

Why this is worth the investment
One deviation handled badly costs more than this in investigation time alone. One finding at inspection costs far more.
So the question is not whether two days are worth the price. It is whether someone who understands what they are protecting is worth more to you than someone who memorised a guideline.
